Our team had the privilege to work on an exciting project in Glyfada - a boardroom located on the 5th floor of a contemporary office building, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the Saronic Gulf.

The Challenge

The boardroom was designed to impress, featuring large windows on one side that showcased the panoramic beauty of Glyfada. However, the other side of the room required a different solution. The goal was to provide privacy-on-demand without compromising the sleek and modern design of the space. Traditional blinds or curtains would detract from the aesthetic and reduce the room’s functionality.

Our Solution

To address these challenges, we installed our advanced PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) smart films on the interior glass partitions of the boardroom, which are the perfect solution for spaces requiring versatile privacy options and a high-end finish.

Panoramic View Preservation: The floor-to-ceiling windows on one side of the boardroom remained untouched to maintain the stunning views of Glyfada. This side serves as the room’s focal point, creating a sense of openness and connection to the surrounding environment.
Privacy on Demand: On the other side of the boardroom, the glass partitions were retrofitted with our smart PDLC films. These films can switch from transparent to opaque at the flick of a switch, offering complete privacy during confidential meetings or presentations. When not in use, the glass remains transparent, enhancing the room’s spacious feel.
Seamless Integration: Our team ensured that the installation process was quick and efficient, minimizing disruption to the client’s daily operations. The films were customized to fit the exact dimensions of the glass partitions, resulting in a flawless finish that complemented the boardroom’s modern design.
