Existing Smart Film System Upgrade
PDLC Smart Film
Following a successful previous installation in Malta, Smartspace returned to expand the existing PDLC Smart Film system with an additional installation.
The challenge was to isolate one panel from the original setup and reconfigure it to operate in sync with the newly installed film, allowing both panels to function as one coordinated system.
The outcome >> Expanded functionality. Unified control. No visible wiring.
All wiring and technical elements were carefully concealed, preserving the clean architectural character of the space.
The upgraded system now provides synchronised on-off switching and dimming functionality, allowing users to adjust transparency and privacy with precision across the newly configured installation.
The project demonstrates the flexibility and scalability of a well-designed Smart Film system, allowing an existing installation to evolve and expand without compromising either aesthetics or functionality.
