“2 Privacy Technologies | 2 Independent Control Zones | One Integrated Solution”

Privacy & Back Projection

BenQ® PDLC Smart Film - BenQ® Cloaking Film

For the offices of Ayvens in Marousi, Smartspace designed and delivered an integrated solution built around two complementary privacy technologies and two independent control zones, allowing different glass surfaces to respond to different functional requirements.

The main meeting room features an impressive three-sided glass enclosure, where BenQ® PDLC Smart Film transforms the transparent partitions into instant privacy surfaces at the touch of a button.

The installation was designed with two independent control zones. The two side sections operate together as one zone, while the large central glass panel—directly facing visitors as they enter the offices—operates independently through a second control.

The reason >> One glass surface. Two completely different experiences.

When transparency is required, the central panel becomes clear, maintaining the openness and visual connection of the space.

When switched to privacy mode, the same surface becomes suitable for back projection, transforming the glass into a large-scale digital communication surface for corporate presentations, branded content and visual communication.

Instead of introducing a conventional screen into the architecture, the existing glass itself becomes the display.

The second privacy technology was introduced in areas requiring a different kind of protection.

Smartspace installed BenQ® Cloaking Film on the glass doors of the Boardroom and in the HR office, providing targeted screen privacy by obscuring the content displayed on LED screens while preserving the transparency and openness of the surrounding glass.

The result is a workspace where two different privacy technologies work together within one integrated concept - each responding to a specific need.

Glass becomes dynamic, functional and intelligent, providing privacy, projection and visual protection exactly where each is required.
